Unused planeswalker symbol meant for future-shifted cards

Planeswalkers are among the most powerful beings in the multiverse, and are the thematic identities of the players of the game. Planeswalkers can be born at random in any sentient race, with no outward signs of their latent power. However, there is an incredibly remote chance that any given sentient, natural being will be born with a planeswalker's spark.
Planeswalker card types were first introduced in Lorwyn. Like the player him or herself, a planeswalker card represents a powerful being that is able to move from plane to plane.

Featured Article to Improve of the Week

Planeswalker is the second novel in the Artifacts Cycle. It is a sequel to the book Brothers' War, and is continued in Time Streams, followed by Bloodlines.
Planeswalker was written by Lynn Abbey and published in September 1998.

Ice Age is the sixth Magic expansion and was released in June 1995 as the first set in the Ice Age block (the first block in Magic). With 383 cards including basic lands, it was the first standalone expansion. Ice Age introduced cumulative upkeep and snow lands (then called snow-covered lands) to the game. Another popular mechanic introduced in Ice Age, but did not use a keyword: cantrips. These are spells that, in addition to a normal small effect, also replaced itself with a card draw. Ice Age also further explored legendary permanents, expanding on them from the lands and multicolored creatures in the Legends expansion to now include mono-colored creatures.

Featured Article to Improve of the Week

Ripple is a triggered ability that first appeared in Coldsnap. It works by triggering when a player plays a spell with ripple, the triggered ability then lets a player reveal a given number of cards from the top of his or her library and play all cards revealed with the same name as the card with the triggered the ability without paying their mana cost.
