Tower of Fortunes[]

Is Tower of Fortunes an associated card for Karn? --Toa of Mirrors, Founder of the Munchkin Wiki 03:42, 13 September 2010 (UTC) And for that matter, isn't Argentum Armor? --Toa of Mirrors, Founder of the Munchkin Wiki 04:52, 27 September 2010 (UTC)

You could probably argue for it... but it's a gray area.Barinellos 07:10, 27 September 2010 (UTC)

Karn=Zendikar Lithomancer?[]

Could Karn be the unknown Zendikar lithomancer? Lithomancy is the art of geomantic divination, or scrying with rocks. Last I checked, Karn was one of the most powerful planeswalkers in the Multiverse and he was a golem with a magical stone for a heart. I won't post this on the page, but if anyone wants to hear other theories, at least they have a talk page to look at.

Impossible, Karn hasn't been alive, much less a planeswalker, for him to have had anything at all to do with Zendikar -Barinellos 22:04, 30 November 2010 (EST)
It was Nahiri.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 92.217.8.10 (talkcontribs).

Ability[]

Didn't want to add it to characteristics without knowing how to word it right, but feel like his ability to touch an item and learn (or use it's abilities himself) so be mentioned. He showed it at least twice in war of the spark, the first time when he touches Ral's googles, he knew how they worked and, I believe, even granted other's the ability. --J spencer93 (talk) 07:38, 25 August 2019 (UTC)

Seems fine how you have worded it --Hunter (talk) 05:10, 26 August 2019 (UTC)

Gatewatch[]

Shouldn't he be added to the gatewatch? Instead of listed in other planeswalkers? --J spencer93 (talk) 05:59, 8 January 2020 (UTC)

No. He didn't take the oath. --Hunter (talk) 06:02, 8 January 2020 (UTC)

Colors[]

Need to add WUBRG as current colors as he is one of few confirmed to use all five. I updated Ugin but can not this page.--J spencer93 (talk) 00:31, 3 November 2020 (UTC)

Feeling Pain[]

The single sentence stating Karn was designed to feel pain and feelings has no citation. I'm assuming it's based on DMU's first story, given how it immediately stood out as counter to previous established facts. Which brings up an interesting conversation on how the wiki handles conflicting information, considering from the moment he was created he didn't feel pain from the extreme heat that was brought about by his time probing? In the book he's introduced, Time Streams, from the moment of his creation he's sent back in time in a process that superheats his body due to "temporal stress". No mention of pain from doing so, even at times his silver joints began to warp from it. Cotoran (talk) 01:28, 27 August 2022 (UTC)

I don't know that there is a rule but I would think generally the right move would be keeping the most recent information as the canon explanation and mentioning any retcons or alternative facts as trivia, notes, or in a separate section of the article.
