When referring to the banned status of Ante cards, the article states, "They are all banned in DCI-sanctioned play, as even though they would technically would be removed before game anyway, that would still allow players to effectively have a deck with less than 60 cards."
I was under the impression that you must have a legal deck (60+ cards) even after removing the Ante cards. I admit that I can't find a ruling to enforce that, but is there any basis to that assumption, or am I going crazy?
Of course, the answer is merely for my own edification, since I don't plan to play for Ante, don't own any Ante cards, and any Ante game would be unsanctioned. But still, I'm curious. --Lithl 19:50, 14 November 2011 (EST)
- I removed the statement as it redundant. Its said earlier that ante cards are forbidden, no reason to mention that they are banned at the end of the paragraph. --GeoMike 21:58, 14 November 2011 (EST)
