Svend Sparre Geertsen is a well known Danish former professional Magic player.[1] [2][3]
The 15-year-old Geertsen made a name for himself after making the top 8 at 1997 World Championships. After that, he took Stompy to new heights, and at the young age of 21, Svend was one of the old-timers of Magic: the Gathering, racking up four Pro Tour Top 8 appearances. In 2002, he finished his professional career as European Champion.
