Scion is creature type exclusive to Eldrazi tokens. It was introduced alongside Processor in Battle for Zendikar and means "descendant".
Similar to Spawns, Scions are colorless and can be sacrificed to add 
. Unlike Spawns they are 1/1 instead of 0/1.[1]
Notably Scion of Darkness and Scion of the Ur-Dragon do not have the Scion type.[2][3]
