Corey Baumeister is a frequent coverage commentator and former American professional player. He was a frequent presence on the professional scene from 2008 through 2011, playing in two Pro Tour events each season. However, his breakout happened in 2017, when he posted five Grand Prix top eights, including a win at GP New Jersey as well as top eight at three straight events: GP Minneapolis, GP Denver, and GP Washington, D.C. His best results were a 25th place finish at Pro Tour Kaladesh and a 41st place finish at Mythic Championship IV Barcelona.

Baumeister is the younger half-brother of former Player of the Year Brad Nelson. In the early 2017–18 season, they remarkably both posted back-to-back top eights at the same GPs (Minneapolis and Denver).

After the shift to the Arena and COVID era of organised play, Baumeister could be regularly seen on the coverage team of the Premier level events.
