Jumpstart
Core Set 2021 set is closely tied to Jumpstart, a booster product that releases the same day.[3] Jumpstart is meant to provide an easy starting point for players who don't have the appetite or time for deckbuilding. Jumpstart shares 120 cards with Core set 2021.
Preconstructed decks
Unlike expansions, planeswalker decks are still a part of the product line-up for the Core Set. However, there are are only two of these decks, while Core Set 2020 had featured five.[4]
