Callaphe the Mariner is the main character of the Callapheia.
Her exploits mirror that of Odysseus, letting her encounter the Sirens (Cloaked Siren) and Polyphemus (Benthic Giant).
In contrast to Odysseus, Callaphe earned the respect and favor of the sea god and became a demigod.[1]
