A 2-Player Starter Set is a special Magic package from Wizards of the Coast, aimed at Starter-level players. It is designed as a ready-to-play gift box and suitable to be bought by non-magic playing people who want to surprise their playing relatives. 2-Player Starter Sets have had different names through the times: Quick Start Set, Starter Set, Core Game, Clash Pack, Booster Battle Pack and lately Spellslinger Starter Kit.
