Regarding the GP Manchester DQ[edit source]

Holding off on adding anything about this to the article yet, until there is more information. Furthermore, I don't know if a solitary disqualification at a Grand Prix should be considered notable enough for inclusion. Pro Tour DQs should be included due to the PT results section of each article, suspensions should be included, and if the player has a history of multiple DQs, I think that should also be included. --Sene (talk) 20:09, 28 May 2016 (UTC)

Use your judgment. If news sources pick up on it (i.e. something not official bookkeeping, forums/social media, or reddit), that's a compelling argument for inclusion. Otherwise, consider the circumstances, the reason, the stakes, player history, etc. --Corveroth (talk) 23:23, 28 May 2016 (UTC)
Well, Fabrizio made statements about it on Facebook and Reddit picked it up: Fabrizio Anteri Disqualified from Grand Prix Manchester. Essentially he was de-randomizing his deck while shuffling and he confessed doing that for a long time already. --Wormbo 217.50.114.87 07:55, 29 May 2016 (UTC)
Corveroth's point was that Reddit/Facebook et al do not count. I agree with him. Prior policy has been to not include solo cases like this one; if he gets suspended, or DQ'd again in the future, I think adding a well sourced "contoversy" section to the article is appropriate. However, if consensus is that all major event DQs should be included in the player article, I can roll with that. I just want all articles to be handled equally! --Sene (talk) 08:48, 29 May 2016 (UTC)
