The Purifying Fire is a magical fire of white mana that burns cool. Located in Regatha, it probes the soul of whoever enters the fire for sin and is a source of power for the Order of Heliud. It is able to destroy a mortal being or drain all power from a planeswalker, including the ability to planeswalk.
Chandra Nalaar was sent into the fire by Walbert and emerged unscathed.
