Kate Elliott (pen name of Alis A. Rasmussen; born 1958) is an American writer. She has published a number of fantasy and science fiction series and short stories.

Elliott was hired as the head writer for a series of eight episodes behind Magic: The Gathering’s Core Set 2019.[1] Later, she was invited back to write Throne of Eldraine: The Wildered Quest.[2]
