Gilanra was an elf druid native to the Wirewood Forest, located on the Dominarian continent of Otaria.[1]
History[ | ]
Due to the influence of the Mirari, Gilanra had mutated into a green-skinned plant creature.
When the Phyrexian Invasion devastated much of Dominaria, many elves lost their families and homes. Upon hearing of the misfortune that befell his elven kin across the plane, Gilanra went on a journey. He traveled the world, spreading the word that Wirewood had plenty of room for new residents. When the immigrants arrived, Gilanra made it his mission to personally welcome each and every elf to the forest. It was said by many that meeting Gilanra made the forest truly feel like home.
