Gavin Verhey is a game designer/developer for Wizards of the Coast; he is also an experienced designer (examples include prerelease activities for Magic 2015 and Khans of Tarkir)). He is also a former Pro Tour player, having competed in three Pro Tours. Verhey is currently a writer on magicthegathering.com, and is a former writer for Star City Games and MTG Salvation.
Biography
Gavin Verhey has numerous tournament accomplishments, and has played on the Pro Tour numerous times. Additionally, he wrote weekly articles for StarCityGames.com [1] and had a blog on game design and development called Design Space.[2]
Today, Verhey can frequently be found on Twitter,[3] and currently lives in Washington state. Mark Rosewater considers him the be part of the fifth generation of Magic designers.
