Box Toppers

Double Masters features a series of 40 promo box toppers.[1]

Each booster box of Double Masters bought at local games stores comes with a sealed pack containing two random semi-borderless non-foil Box Toppers with a Showcase alternate art treatment, sealed inside the box. There is a total of 40 box toppers. The cards are numbered #333 to #372. Every box topper also has a main set counterpart, just with a normal frame treatment. Artists selected were longtime and fan-favorite Magic artists.[2]

Nonfoil printings of the box toppers can only be found as part of the Buy-a-Box promotion: foil versions can only be found in the set's VIP Edition. Toppers with a rare set symbol are twice as common as those with a mythic rare one.[3] A single VIP booster cannot contain two mythic rare foil box toppers,[2] but a sealed box can have both of its nonfoil box toppers be mythic rare.

The expansion symbol is the same as for the main set.
