After Sol'Kanar the Swamp King submerged the caravan path between the Kingdom of Khone and the Kingdom of Shikar in southeastern Corondor, he forced them to pay tribute to him. Angered by the situation they had fallen into, the two kingdoms became known collectively as the Contrary Kingdoms.[1]
