Reasons for split rows[]

I just threw together this conversion to the navbox template, but I've put it in a sandbox because I'm not sure what the reasoning is for having the history split into several rows, and I don't want to potentially break things. Is there a deeper explanation than aesthetics? --Corveroth (talk) 04:52, 25 March 2016 (UTC)

It's aesthetics/function. In my opinion, it's much easier and quicker to find the year you're looking for if it's not all one row; aesthetically, it looks weird to have a mix of "2003–4"s and "2005"s in the same row. On Wikipedia, it is similar to what you suggested, which I disliked. Now, I'm not saying that it should definitely be this way or that, but I do have a reason behind it! --Sene (talk) 19:05, 25 March 2016 (UTC)
I updated the nav to have basic navbox functionalities. - Yandere Sliver H09 symbol 17:52, 9 May 2016 (UTC)
