SVG Error[]

The upper-right section of the 8 in the symbol don't smoothly connect. I have no idea how to edit SVGs, so I assume you could fix this better than I could.

Hi. I am currently looking at the symbol and it looks perfectly fine to me.
Usually SVN troubles come from the browsers and computer itself. A screen shot of how it looks at your end as well as which operating system and browser are you using would be nice. - Yandere Sliver H09 symbol 10:30, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
This is what I see when I increase the resolution. At the small size usually seen on this site, it's impossible to tell there's a break. I'm using Firefox 61.0.1 on Windows 10. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 72.47.64.224 (talkcontribs).
I can't reproduce the error even though I use the same operating system and browser... I will ask on slack if someone know how to help you. - Yandere Sliver H09 symbol 22:40, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
May I see how it looks for you? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 72.47.64.224 (talkcontribs).
Wait are we talking about this?

Yes, lol —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 72.47.64.224 (talkcontribs).
Ah sorry I thought the image was somehow cut off at the top whihc was an error we did encounter before. What you pointed out really seems to be an issue with the SVG file I can take a look if I can get that updated. - Yandere Sliver H09 symbol 00:48, 27 July 2018 (UTC)
Ah, okay. Thank you. Also, you may want to fix the curve to the right of the error to make it connect more smoothly. As of now, it bulges awkwardly outward. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 72.47.64.224 (talkcontribs).
That was my fault. I was a tad overzealous with cleanup operations. —ProtonZero[talk] 02:05, 27 July 2018 (UTC)

Generic mana color[]

Hi just wanted to ask...

2G 2B

Am I stupid or is the generic grey on the 2/B symbol lighter then on the other 2/M symbols? - Yandere Sliver H09 symbol 11:31, 21 January 2016 (UTC)

You are correct! As it turns out, generic mana and black mana actually both use the same background and foreground colors on Gatherer (see: {2}{B}), so in the {2/B} icon they made the generic background lighter and the black background darker so it wouldn't all be the same background color. It's the only exception to the standard mana color schemes (aside from Phyrexian mana, which all use darker backgrounds than their non-Phyrexian versions). —ProtonZero[talk] 10:05, 25 January 2016 (UTC)

div vs tables[]

I am not sure if I agree with your statement about div tags... So I thought I will ask. In templates I have no real preference. I think wiki tables work perfectly fine in most cases, but div tags do as well. In main articles however div tags are of major concern. One careless edit and the div tag is not closed anymore causing weird issues on the page. We had this with the Ravnika articles, where div tags were used instead of small tags. Sooo... was this a general statement or just related to banners? Also I think you are not finished yet with the div tag conversion. because the banner starts looking weird when you use anything else but full screen. - Yandere Sliver H09 symbol 08:12, 12 February 2016 (UTC)

Generally speaking, when designing web pages, table elements should only be used when displaying an actual table of data; for organization of visual elements, div should be used instead.
Regarding the banner looking weird, that's because I didn't realize there's an advertisement in the top-right of main-namespace pages (since I use an ad blocker). I've updated the template to take into account the 314px of width that those take up. It should look fine now. —ProtonZero[talk] 08:34, 12 February 2016 (UTC)
Indeed it works now. I also agree with your statement regarding web page design and I think as long as the div tags are only used in templates it is a nice way to do things. - Yandere Sliver H09 symbol 10:53, 12 February 2016 (UTC)

New vector source[]

I recall you were engaged in several thumbnail-to-SVG replacements. Today, I found this vector font, actively maintained, with set icons through Shadows over Innistrad. I frankly haven't checked the overall state of the set icons here, but I remembered your efforts and thought you might want to know. --Corveroth (talk) 01:34, 30 March 2016 (UTC)

I probably won't end up using this, but this is a nice resource, thanks. —ProtonZero[talk] 01:41, 30 March 2016 (UTC)
